The African Language Program offers Arabic, Hausa and Swahili at the beginning and intermediate levels on an annual basis through the classroom mode.

The advanced level is available in the supervised tutorial mode. Courses taught through the classroom are coordinated by a faculty specialist and the teaching is shared by the coordinator and proficient speakers from a country where the language is spoken.

Beginning classes in these languages are open to all registered students. Intermediate and Advanced classes are open to students upon successful completion of the preceding level or by permission of the faculty coordinator.

For the scheduling of these languages consult the MSU schedule.
