Friendship Family Program

STUDENTS AND SCHOLARS

Would you like to become acquainted with an American family and share your culture with them?

This program allows international students and scholars the opportunity to meet and spend time with American families for special occasions, holidays, or outings. This is NOT a home stay program but an excellent opportunity to share friendship and culture!

All new students are required to attend an orientation session. This usually takes place on a Sunday afternoon from approximately 3:00 to 4:30 pm at the International center on the MSU campus. After a short 45 minute session on Cross-Cultural Differences and Perceptions, you can meet and talk with each other while enjoying light refreshments. After you fill out the student application form, we will contact you with details. The next orientation will take place in February 2010.
