Reasons to Invest

The JCMU Melville Endowment will provide funding for students participating in JCMU Language and Culture Programs. These programs engage students both academically and with the local community through home stays, internships, volunteer work and other activities. JCMU students gain knowledge of Japanese language and culture as well as a unique global perspective that they take with them into professional positions and into life after graduation.

Donor Benefits

Donors will be recognized in JCMU publications and on a donor board located either at the Japan Center in Hikone or on our newly designed Web site. Additionally, contribution to the JCMU Melville Endowed Scholarship Fund may qualify for a federal tax deduction or State of Michigan tax credit for Michigan residents.
