Elective Courses

JCMU Elective Courses vary each year, each involving various aspects of Japanese culture. All elective courses are taught in English. The standard course, Japanese Culture & Society is offered each year and may be repeated for credit. Other courses are facilitated by JCMU Visiting Scholars, Shiga University, University of Shiga Prefecture, and distance learning. Independent study options are also available.
