Japan is an expensive place to study, but there are numerous ways to finance your trip. A JCMU education is an investment, so like other investments, it will bring returns for many years.
Begin by visiting your campus financial aid office. Make sure all the necessary forms, such as the FAFSA, are completed and submitted properly. Many scholarships will not even consider you if you haven't filled out a FAFSA, so don't forget!
If your home university is not a member of the JCMU consortium, then inquire at your campus study abroad office about your home university's policy toward off-campus programs. Many universities will sign a "temporary consortium agreement" allowing you to use your current financial aid when you enroll at JCMU.
