Location:
International Center, Third Floor
Department:
Peace Corps
Event Details:

Join us for this collaboration between the Peace Corps Recruitment Office and the Greater Lansing chapter of the United Nations Association (GLUNA)! As part of PeaceQuest, a monthlong community-wide celebration bookended by the International Day of Peace (September 21) and United Nations Day (October 24), this event offers an opportunity to hear from Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) about their experiences.

Brief opening remarks will be followed by free time during which attendees can visit multiple tables hosted by RPCVs and hear about their service in many countries, eras, and sectors. Learn how Peace Corps service allows you to "walk the walk" of promoting peace and mutual understanding.

  • The event will be in the MSU International Center, third floor. The International Center is located at 427 N. Shaw Lane.
  • Free parking is available after 6:00pm in Lot 50 (adjacent to the International Center, directly east). There is also a visitor lot (#39) directly south of the International Center with pay-by-plate parking for $2/hour. Payment is required (even after 6:00pm).
