Nayelli Hernandez Crespo is an award-winning multi-disciplinary leader who values generating wealth while simultaneously protecting the environment. Her multidimensional approach has been shaped by her roles as a businesswoman, politician, economist, activist, and environmentalist. Currently Nayelli Hernandez Crespo is the Director at Consultoria Fortalece Empresarial, where she designs and implements environmental care and women's empowerment programs in Merida, Yucatán. Her previous positions include founder of a leading company in solar panel commercialization and installation, national project director focused on economic empowerment of women, and state coordinator for a Mexican political party.
Nayelli’s Humphrey Fellowship goals include gaining a more global vision of economic perspectives, market trends, and good business practices; expanding her professional network to share knowledge and collaborate; and strengthening her existing leadership skills. Nayelli plans to leverage the insights gained during her fellowship to generate enhanced programs and provide high-level consulting services that promote effective public policy in circular, regenerative, and sustainable economics.
