Mbolatiana Razakatsara is a rising star in Madagascar's economic development sector passionate about increasing the digital economy’s share of her country’s GDP. Currently she is Manager for Entrepreneurship and Digital Components supporting the Economic Transformation Project for Inclusive Growth (a Malagasy Government project, funded by the World Bank). Mbolatiana is responsible for coordinating digital projects through the Ministry of Digital Development, Digital Transformation, Posts and Telecommunications. With a background in finance and accounting, her main responsibilities include boosting start-ups, establishing legal frameworks for the digital sector, improving system efficiency and enhancing digital skills. Prior to this role, she was an Investment Manager at the Economic Development Board of Madagascar (EBDM), where she supported SMEs and start-ups, designed and implemented donors' digital projects, and expanded EDBM's network of private and public partners.
Mbolatiana’s Humphrey goals include creating a program focused on technology policy and management, public policy analysis, and government innovation. Ultimately, she hopes to acquire the necessary skills and experiences to build the digital ecosystem in Madagascar and strengthen her country's institutional capacity.
